All of these people have already failed at Lent

They just couldn’t make it through those 40 days and 40 nights.

THE FIRST DAY of Lent is upon us and everyone has the best of intentions.

They know that with a bit of effort they can definitely make it through the next 40 days and 40 nights.

It’s all going well so far for some.

But others have lost the battle within the first 12 hours and taken to Twitter to share their tales of woe with the world.

It’s the taking part that matters most anyway, right?

And sure can’t they always start over? It’s Ash Wednesday, surely that’s a valid excuse?
